Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) SSLC class 10 examinations for the year 2015 have begun from today. According to the examination department 8, 49,599 students this year will appear for the exams. The exams begin with the first paper of languages like Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi. The papers will be taken in the morning shift from 9:45 am to 11:30 am and will continue till 10 April, 2015.
The SSLC exams will be conducted at total of 3,003 centers across the state. Out of these centers 159 have been marked as sensitive and about 59 are declared as highly sensitive centers.
The board has opted strict measures to control cheating and malpractices in the exams for better Results. Each district and Taluk in the state will have sitting squad selected by the KSEEB and the squad will not be repeated in the same center during the exam schedule, said KSEEB Director, K Venkateshaiah.
To avoid paper leaking, night vigilance has been appointed and special consideration has been paid on the Xerox shops in the areas of the examination centers. Karnataka state police also has an active part to control the malpractices during the examinations.
